NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of Jones County, Mississippi, will
receive bids via the reverse auction process beginning Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 8:00 AM
until, Tuesday, July 01, 2025 at 10:00 AM for the purchase of one Tandem Axle Refuse Chassis
garbage trucks.
Specifications are on file with Tammy Williams, Purchase Clerk for the Board of
Supervisors at the Jones County Courthouse in Laurel, Mississippi. Bidders may contact Tammy
Williams at trwilliams@co.jones.ms.us or at (601) 428-3128.
If submitting a paper bid, the bid must be marked on the outside of the sealed envelope
indicating what the bid is for and should also include the name, address and telephone number of
the bidder. The bid should be submitted to the Board of Supervisors 415 N. 5th Ave. Laurel, MS
39443 at the Laurel Courthouse no later than 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 01, 2025.
The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to
determine the best bid.
